A light change in Hoffman’s interior design and identity. A game and toy shop located in the former Gavina space, in via Altabella 23 in Bologna, designed by Carlo Scarpa between 1961 and 1963.
For the interior we wanted to pay homage to Carlo Scarpa, creating a modular system of orthogonal slotted panels. The types of panels are differentiated by size and color, and above all material: wood, aluminum, polycarbonate, medium-density fiberboard. Each panel shows off its raw material. The mounting of the panels is done through simple slotted joints, allowing the creation of simple and linear architectures or complex and structured ones.
For the visual identity we chose to have the logo be a wind-up toy key. The part that makes it move, gives energy, and above all highlights a particular care for the dexterity and educational role of toys.
